Foundation

HAVE A HEART FOUNDATION, previously known as HAVE A REAL HEART FOUNDATION, was created in 1999 by five men with quite diverse professional backgrounds. The Founding Fathers were James J. Ryan, retired, past President of the Foundation, former Fire Chief, Chicago Fire Department; Dr. G. Martin Mullen, M.D., Cardiovascular Associates, Alexian Brothers Medical Center; John Ambrose, Ambrose & Cushing, P.C., Attorneys at Law, Chicago, IL; Charles E. Feltes, heart transplant recipient, retired, former Chicago area businessman; and Mark Canty, Accountant, Canty & Associates, Wheaton, IL.
